I decided to write again - why? Because I got a comment from someone who checked out my news, maybe mostly because I sent her to the site, to make sure it was ok to comment on her "men" situation. I mean its kind of funny, b/c who doesn't have a "men" situation. There is always some sort of issue. I used to have those problems, but now I'm in the singular. And its definitely not a problem... more of a challenge? is that the right word? Ok, maybe thats wrong; I have a man. I like him - so its not a problem.
So, last night I joined the YMCA officially, and it cost me $50 to join plus the first month, so $87. Crap. But the bitchy lady did say that if my parents want to join to and live in the same house, then they don't have to pay that stupid initiation fee and its for life. So meh - i guess thats good. Why would she assume I live with my parents - just like the lady from knitting who assumed I was in high school. I guess its better to assume younger...?
Well, Dave is definitely meeting the parents this weekend. I'm excited/nervous... should be fun. HOpefully the skiing is good.
I'm excited for my trip out west. I haven't been to vancouver in quite a few years. I think the last time was in 2nd year university when I looked like a boy... ahh finally time for a change.
Maybe I should get back to work...
Jadine - thanks for the huge email, it rocked my day!

I guess it's been awhile. So here is an update for those that still read this... and there are few...
- I met a guy, who is now the boyfriend - however kind of creepy and odd at first, is really great... things couldn't be better.
- I went home for Christmas for a little less than a week and saw most of the people I wanted to see.
- I'm an aunt... the little girl (name unknown) was born yesterday afternoon and I'm heading down to Calgary to see my new niece this weekend.
- I've been skiing 2 days so far this year: Jasper with Daryl and Lake Louise with Dave, Daryl and friends; it was wicked cold in Jasper: -24C and super horrid snow in Louise, hoping it will better this coming weekend in Louise
- Heading down to Calgary this weekend to see my parents and do some skiing - will Dave meet the parents? Who knows... whatever happens: "Dave - drink only beer and my dad is always right, and you're dating his little girl... good luck :) "
- The weekend of February 18-20th I'm heading out to Vancouver to see Jadine and her umm men? And to catch up with some university friends that I haven't seen in 2 years... well almost 2 years... can you believe its been 2 years since we graduated? What is up with time...
- I guess the next time I'll be in Markham is the May long weekend... cottage? Um ya definitely.
- Work is going great. Contemplating what to do next. Maybe a masters - like everyone else - I'm narrowing down which way to go. Business or composting. Or maybe a bit of both? I'm torn though - I love my worms.
- Ooohh... I'm in a knitting course. So cool. We get to make our own scarf next week
- And playing ringette and hockey.
- Could I BE ANY busier?
I guess thats it. More news in 3 months :)
