Speed dating.
Well, it was an interesting night. 12 girls, 12 guys. 12 - 6 minutes dates for each person. I was nervous at first, but after the first "date" things got better and Igot more comfortable. Upon arriving to the bar with my friend Jen, they played a little social game with all the different groups (20 something, 30 something and 40 something). Three different categories depending on your age. Most of hte people in my age category were just there to meet some new people and have a good time. There were a few guys looking for long term commitment etc etc. and 2 guys that were super and i mean super sketchy. Fortunately, one of the guys I "dated" told me ahead of time to watch what I said to one of them since that "guy" only talked about how he loved going ot strip clubs. Eeek, not a problem. But he was not really good at keeping up a conversation either. I tried and tried and kept asking questions so there wasn't a dead uncomfortable silence. woah. 6 minutes done. the other guy was super touchy. yikes. dude. stop touching my arm.
Meh. It was fun!
Work is slowing down right now. Just waiting for my next project. HOping to do some Waste Stewardship stuff soon.
We'll see.

Hey All
Well, Winnipeg is great. My first day here I wasn’t too impressed, because I had some problems with some people that I’m working with, but its gotten a lot better!
I flew into Winnipeg on Monday, got my first rental car and learned how to drive in a new city. Found my hotel (its beautiful), and grabbed some food from a local restaurant for bad meal. Went back to the hotel and watched Daddy Daycare – surprisingly quite funny and cute!
Yesterday at work, I didn’t get any audits done, since all the scheduling got screwed up and managers knew that I was coming to do audits, but the drivers had no idea, so I didn’t get to do any work, which is good I guess but horribly frustrating! So I came back to the hotel, did a hardcore workout, then had subway and went for my first solo movie. I saw Along Came Polly after all my friend refused to see it with me. It was cute. Only made me cry once… awww! But it was funny – which is good.
Today, I finished 4 audits and I just have to type them up tonight. After I finished my audits, the sales rep took me out to lunch for a Ukranian meal. It was really good. Perogies and cabage rolls. Yum! Then he gave me a 3 hour tour of Winnipeg which was really informative and I saw all these great places and high points of the city. It was a way better tour than I would have ever been able to do on my own, because I would definitely have gotten lost.
Anyway, that’s the news. Tomorrow is a super long day. Have to be at the landfill at 6am, then back to the hotel to check out and then to another landfill until my flight home and have to take my car back and then hoping to get to broomball. Shessh. BUSY!
